Barbara Fant is a celebrated performer, award winning poet, and author of Paint, Inside Out and Mouths of Garden. Barbara was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. At age fifteen she tragically lost her mother. “I became an angry teenager. I was mad at the world. I even stopped praying, but I began to write. Poetry became my way of communication, my way of processing... it became my way to pray.”
